The above quote by Garrison Keillor needs no further explanation. At SGES, we want to encourage students to develop the virtue of valuing knowledge and sharing it with others, as also to develop a sense of social belongingness and philanthropy. To that end, we have created a provision to enable students to lend or donate their books to other students.
These could include:
– Past textbooks that the student has used and has now moved to higher classes
– Books that a student wants to own but is okay lending to other interested students temporarily
– Books that a student has read and wants to gift to other students who might be interested in the same
We are sure that this provision would set up a culture of sharing the wealth of knowledge in the school.
