How verily true those words are, and the successes of the Shri Gujarati English School along its journey
of existence stand testimony to the same. Every year, we see several of our students graduating from
our school to join some of the best colleges in the country, and from there, managing to get into their
dream careers. And yet, after they flourish in life, they always reminisce about their school days at our
campus with happiness.
It is the love and gratitude that the school continues to carry in the heart of our alumni that is the pillar
of our institutional strength. As an institution, we do not only measure our accomplishments through
the examination scores of our students, though that may seem to be the most tangible and relevant
metric. We count our success in terms of the number of lives we positively touched, and the happiness
and pride that we have been able to spread in families.
The school remains committed to delivering the best-in-class education and houses a powerful teaching
community. We continue to invest in our infrastructure to ensure that students can have excellent
facilities to explore their talents -- be it the school library, the laboratories, the audio-visual rooms, or
sporting kits and grounds. At the Shri Gujarati English School, we strive to strike the perfect balance
between tradition and modernity -- to ensure that our students remain grounded to their societal roots
and yet, develop the wings to give flight to their careers in the globalized world we live in today.
Since 2021, we have adopted the CBSE board. This transition allows us to educate students with a better
structured scholastic curriculum. Moreover, as part of the requirements, students will be graded not just
on their knowledge but on their ability to apply the knowledge gained. Also, their performance in
activities such as sports will form part of their holistic evaluation. This would facilitate all-round
development of students which they will surely benefit from in their life beyond school.
Under the aegis of the robust institution, we are confident that we will continue to create positive value,
not just for the students, but for everyone who is a stakeholder in the school’s functioning. In our
students, we hope to nurture agents of change who would go on to ring in a better society through their
skills, hard work, and ethics.
